I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.
The expression "stop and smell the roses" is not simply about flowers, but rather about how to live your life with a deeper appreciation of the world around us. It reminds us to slow down and notice the little things that make life worthwhile. Despite a busy life, it is important to know how to be present at the moment; otherwise, those moments will pass you by.
This weekend, I gave my security guard an unexpected ride, He was glad and we engaged in a friendly conversation. Before he said one or few statements, he mentioned of a house he built in a remote part of the state where his family lives. I was impressed and had to give him the double amount of the tip I planned giving him.
Just like yesterday, we started the year 2018 and approaching 2019 in a couple of days. It is time to review our achievements and goals ahead of the coming year and the future. It is the nature of man to make a boast of his previous achievements to other men just like my guard Mohammed did. Some call it Pride but it is also a way of giving testimonies and marketing your accomplishments, this makes people believe in your capabilities and strength. This will earn you more recognition and businesses. It could also expand your network and position you for greater opportunities.
Yes, You always have big plans and big goals. And you're never satisfied because satisfaction breeds complacency. Unfortunately, most of the time that means you're unhappy because you think more about what you have not achieved, have not done, and do not have. (Of course, the key is to instead do things that make you happy more often.)
Take a moment and think about what you have achieved so far, both professionally and especially personally. We've all screwed up. We all have things we could have done better. Words. Actions. Omissions. Failing to step up, step in, or be supportive.
Successful people don't expect to be perfect, but they do think they can always be better. So think back on yesterday. Think about what went well. Then think about what didn't go as well as it could have and take ownership. Take responsibility.
