The Pursuit of Happiness
Happy new week friends,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.
More than simply positive mood, happiness is a state of well-being that encompasses living a good life—that is, with a sense of meaning and deep satisfaction.
Psychologist today says that Money is important to happiness, but only to a certain point. Money buys freedom from worry about the basics in life—housing, food, and clothing. Genetic makeup, life circumstances, achievements, marital status, social relationships, even your neighbors—all influence how happy you are. Or can be.
However, Research shows that much of happiness is under personal control. Regularly indulging in small pleasures, getting absorbed in challenging activities, setting and meeting goals, maintaining close social ties, and finding purpose beyond oneself all increase life satisfaction.
The truth about the pursuit of happiness is that everyone gets lost trying to find a piece of it even when everyone thinks they know how to get a bulk of it.
Albert Camus once said “You will never be happy if you continue to search for what happiness consists of. You will never live if you are looking for the meaning of life.”
We mistakenly think that achieving mile stones, making more money and achieving more goals will do it, but we’re never quite fulfilled. We always want more and here is why:
The ultimate reason why we pursue success and happiness is because we want a better version of ourselves. Therefore, we are never contented with our present status no matter how comfortable we are.
The solution to this endless pursuit is to make up your mind to be a better version of yourself every day, this will in-turn bring about happiness as a natural result.
With that, don’t focus on being happy; focusing on becoming the best version of yourself and happiness will naturally result.

Be Prepared
Happy new week friends,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.
What does it mean to be prepared? In simple terms, it means, made ready or fit or suitable beforehand. It can also mean to be equipped or prepared with necessary intellectual resources or skill.
The scenario is painted of a steward who is expecting the master’s call to service. Assuming that the call was delayed and the steward decides to take the first step by approaching the master and at the end of the day his approach was denied. The reality is, eventually, the master will need the service of the steward and have no choice but to call for him. So, the question is, what is the steward doing in preparation for the master’s call?
We all have that area in our life where we believe that we can make a difference, we have the skill, the knowledge or even the right resources but so far the master hasn’t called yet. In this case, it could be that you haven’t found the right opportunities, or the perfect platform or even the ‘eureka’ moment. My question to you right now, what are you doing in preparation for the master’s call?
What books are you reading? What skills are you perfecting? What relationships are you building? Because eventually, the master will call, the universe is going to lay a demand on your skills, how prepared will you be?
It has been said that success is when opportunity meets preparation. And everyone will at some point in their life find the opportunity they have been waiting for, but while in the period of your waiting you refuse to improve yourself, the only thing left will be either failure or not enough success as you could have had.
The boy-scout slogan, “Always be prepared” is a charge not only to boy-scout but to every single individual who desire to be successful.

Stay Positive in 2019
Happy new week friends,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.
During his Campaign, President Obama repeated the word “YES” to claim his victory and training the thought of his supporters.
Yes, I can, Yes, We can, became prophetic themes in his speeches from day one.
Staying positive is one of the qualities required of a good leader, but there have been moments when I felt discouraged and full of doubt. A few times I questioned everything and quietly negative. If people tell you they are always positive and never experience bad days, that’s a fat lie.
Staying positive is a daily challenge which can not be achieved without focus and attention.

Travel Light in 2019
Happy new week friends,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.
This is 2019!!! Are you still carrying around nagging broken agreements,
dysfunctional relationships, grudges, or limiting stories? It can be an
uncomfortable process to clean this clutter up by letting go of the
past, but chances are, you’re already living with a certain burden of
more discomfort because of not having dealt with or released these issues.
Our shortcomings as human beings are mostly the unfinished business
within ourselves, such as the work of healing our old wounds, gaining
the confidence to put love over ego, or bringing forth our authentic
selves. These are messy, hard and weighty endeavors, and for most of us,
they are a work in progress.
Many of us have challenges in our relationships and dealings with people
that trace back to our early childhoods. If we lacked affection when we
were young, we might now be someone who craves adoration and recognition
or on the other hand someone who is unable to express affection. If we
were constantly criticized, we might now be overly sensitive and hear
any feedback as an attack.
If we have not done the work of healing, I think we have a tendency to
bring our shortcomings with us wherever we go. You need to know that
your wound is probably not your fault, but your healing is your
responsibility!
We sometimes try to bury our hurt with food. We drown it with drink. We numb it with pills. We push it down deep within ourselves, stifling it with every excess, and every vice, everything we can think of. And sometimes it works, if only for a little while.
These are the moments we are oblivious to our pain for new distractions competing for our attention. But this pleasure is short-lived. As soon as the high wears off, we come crashing down, back to the hurting, back to the suffering, back to the pain. It throbs, it aches, and it tears us apart. Much of what we suffer is due to the layers and layers of pain we’ve built inside.
A hurting heart takes time to heal.
It requires patience, gentleness and care. This healing continues until our heart is restored to how it once was when we were born. It takes us full circle back to that moment when we first came into this world, knowing that we are complete, perfect, sacred and divine.
In essence, instead of carry about hurts and baggage that keeps weighing us down.
Let’s learn to heal and let go of the past.
You need to know that your wound is probably not your fault, but your healing is your
responsibility!
