Nature always have a message

Happy new week friends,

I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.

“Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better” Albert Einstein
My visit to the beach lately reminded me of some lessons of nature. These lessons I think are very valuable that the ocean teaches us.
There’s something interesting how big aquatic animals swim off the beach. They only swim in deep water and not in the shallows.
Good swimmers are also aware that you need to be strong to swim in the deep water.
The classic book, blue ocean strategy also talks about creating and capturing uncontested market place.  You don’t learn to survive life’s deep water by staying in the shallows where it’s safe.
Peter in the Bible was also told to launch out into the deep and when he did, there was a catch so big, it almost sank the boat! Sometimes in life, if you want to learn when to tread and when to swim, when to go with the flow and when to fight it, how to make the big catch or see the big blessings, you must leave the safety of ankle-deep water and wade into the deep.
We must maintain a positive space, to never absorb whatever it is the environment or other people throw at you to put you down, instead, to rise above the criticism and dust them off your shoulders. It is absolutely important to stay away from anything or anyone that makes you feel small and inferior.  Maintaining a positive space gives you control over your dreams and goals, it also helps you to focus on what’s important without expending valuable time and energy trying to rationalise the way other people feel about you and your actions.

I hope these lessons are things you can relate with and integrate into your own lives, so the next time you’re at the beach, don’t just enjoy the breeze and the waves of the ocean, look around and find things that you can learn from because nature is always teaching us something.

Guide your passion now

Happy new week friends,

I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals, fulfilling your Purpose and making the world a better place.

Yvonne has just been promoted at work to managerial level, her colleges believe she deserved it as a result of her continued hard work and professionalism in handling herself. There were other candidate due for promotion but she was considered brilliant, effective and efficient.

Few months into her managerial responsibilities, she begins to change some of the constitution that guides the company’s allocation of resources. Company’s initial priority of funding Education and Health became diverted into entertainment, which were Yvonne's interest, which unfortunately had no bearing with the company’s objectives nor policies. More and more money became invested into   Entertainment. The company began to lose its credibility and eventually its clients.

Yvonne was served a query and stood at risk of losing her job until she was forced to make the right decisions was in line with the company’s policies regardless of her interests.
Just like Yvonne, your interest, passion and values often determine where you channel your resources, time and energy. Forming a wide range of good and success habits while you are still being made often helps you become a well-rounded, well-adjusted individual who will/can compromise on the right and needful things.

Compromising based on our interest is a part of our human nature. People have gone for interviews and landed the job because they showed similar interest with the employer or interviewer.
Guide your interest, passion and values and be conscious of the decisions you are making. Values sometimes express themselves unconsciously which means, your body language and unconscious actions will always tend towards those areas. When the French President Macron visited Nigeria, his interest became obvious in his direct action of visiting the Africa Shrine. This shows his interest for the African culture and music.

Guide your interest, passion and values because they often determine the direction your life is taking.
