“A simple act of kindness can make a tremendous impact on a person’s life.”
So, it happened that on Saturday, May 26th 2018, the BPE Team of Solomon’s Empire undertook a medical outreach at an area in Iyana-Ipaja, Lagos Nigeria. It was a fulfilling event with lots of laughter, care and help. The outreach was tagged: “Love beyond barrier” for its simple act of love towards the elderly and children of the community, regardless of background, ethnic or religion.
From this event, I was able to fully realise the importance of giving back no matter where you are at. You do not have to own so much before you do what is needful because no act of kindness however small is wasted. "Tope Mandy"

THE VALUE OF GOOD REPUTATION
Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your Purpose.
A man is valued by what others say of him. Value is not only a function of who you are when you’re by
yourself or what you do, it is more a function of what is said about you, your reputation
especially when you’re not there to influence it. For example, many people rely
heavily on the reputation of a product before deciding to buy the product
themselves. They go through the company’s website looking for reviews of the
product. Many potential customers will go through this routine, why? Because
they understand that the reputation of the product is just as important as the
product itself.
In the same way,
our reputation defines how people look at us and how people speak of you. For
the most part, people will speak of you as they perceive you and perception is
not 100% beyond our control.
The value of good reputation
1.
Inspiration: A good reputation
inspires others to want to be better than they are. All it takes is for someone
to cross the line of impossible and it opens the door for great exploits.
Inspiration does not only come from the things that you say of yourself, the
things that other people say of you can serve as the push that another needs.
2.
Public branding: If you stay in
a place and try to sell yourself, at your best, your reach is still limited.
But what if have built a reputable image over the years, enough for people to
comment about, then you have created a ripple effect because other people’s
voice can reach places that you may not be aware of, thereby promoting your
public brand.
3.
Stepping stone: Rather than think of yourself
as haven arrived and needing no further development, you can think of your
present reputation as a stepping stone to achieving amazing things. You can
also choose to be leverage on your reputation and reach people and places where
your influence may otherwise not have reached.
Building a good reputation
A good
reputation is valuable and it’s not something that is beyond your control. If
in a few years’ time, you decide to leave the country and travel to a place
where no one knows you before, you need to realize that you’re in charge. You
can completely turn your image around in the new place by following these
simple steps:
1.
Take on responsibilities: Not
something that is way above your capabilities; it must a realistic measurable
action. Handle this new responsibility with expertise and avoid giving excuse
when you encounter a problem. If you succeed at the things you are in charge
of, they begin to form an opinion of you in the minds of those who are
watching.
2.
Avoid casting a blaming eye: If
you’re at fault, accept it and move to correct it. Don’t try to be perfect,
because you will appear to be fake. Make mistakes because it is normal and even
expected but don’t allow someone take the fall for you.
3.
Be involved: Make new friends,
join in conversations and give your opinion quietly. Laugh when others laugh
and volunteer for projects. If you consciously choose to be friendly, you’ll
attract friends and be known as one.

Ultime grida dalla savana - Men like Animals
Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,
I look forward to sharing with you Brilliant
and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your Purpose.
I saw some caged people in a vehicle on my
way back from work last week. They were conveyed back to the prison from the court and
that inspired today’s write up.
Yes, A prison also
known as a correctional facility, detention center or remand center is a facility in which inmates are forcibly confined and denied a variety of freedoms under
the authority of the state. Prisons are most
commonly used within a criminal justice system: people charged with crimes may
be imprisoned until they are brought to trial; those pleading or being
found guilty of crimes at trial may
be sentenced to a
specified period of imprisonment.( Wikipedia)
While I could not get my eyes and
mind off these vehicle and the caged people there in. I was convinced that only
animals are meant to be caged but these days we have several human who still behave
like animals.
Ultime grida dalla savana also known as La Grande caccia and by its English title Savage Man Savage Beast, is
a Mondo documentary directed by Antonio Climati and Mario Morra. Filmed all around the world, its central theme focuses on hunting and the interaction between man
and animal. More specifically, the film documents various forms of hunting that
can be found in the world and how humans and animals can both become the hunter
or prey. ( Wikipedia)
Man is significantly different from animals,
in more than one way. Man is able to self-reflect, to recognize that he has a
purpose and pursue it, and to make a change in his world where necessary for
his convenience. The realm of humanity- the realm where purpose is felt, life
is enjoyed and work is appreciated- that’s some of the distinguishing factor
from animals.
However, it is true that not many human live
a life that is significantly purposeful than animals. Animals live primarily by
instincts, not humans. More than that, man should live by purpose. There is a
rule in the animal kingdom, it’s called savage. It means fierce, violent and
uncontrolled.
In the world today, Man play by the rule of
the animal kingdom. There are multiple rapes, violence, and discontentment
about life, jealousy and even murder. A situation where man himself becomes
savage, taken to a character known primarily among the animal kingdom, that’s
the situation we hope to address today.
·
If you have not been convicted for any of the above crime, you may still
want to search your self to know the animal traits you still portray.
·
Do you still live without purpose?
·
Do you still visit the convenience and you leave without washing your
hands?
·
Do you still get have intercourse with several numbers of the opposite
sex?
·
Do you have any personal relationship with your inner self either
through meditation or sort of?
Do you still find it difficult to control your eating habits?
Do you still find it difficult to tame your anger and control your temper?
We will be addressing all of these and many
other in a book which will be published soon by the BPE team.

The Feeling of Success
Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent People,
I look forward to sharing with you
Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your
Purpose.
I often watch the
premier league games and I have witnessed several times the joy and celebration
of the winners through several seasons. I also watch the local football league
from time to time and have also witnessed the exhilaration of the winners. And
over the years, my conclusion has been the same, whether it’s for the local
football league or for the international league, the taste of success is the
same.
The
man who is finally able to sell off his trade under the bridge after many
attempts will no less feel successful than the man who recently wins over a
multi-million dollar contract. In their own capacities, they have success and
they most likely feel it the same way. They both go off and celebrate with
friends and families, they both announce their joy in the same capacity, with
shouting and praising.
While
the feeling and taste of success is the same, but you’ll agree that the rewards
of success is never the same. The international football league will have a
higher pay, larger viewership and attention, and will attract bigger awards, while the local league will
have their pay and attractions too, it doesn’t compare. The man who finally
sold his trade under the bridge will probably have more money than he had
yesterday but not enough for tomorrow and his growing needs while the other man
will not only have enough to finish the job, he’ll also have more to share with
families and friends and perhaps take a vacation.
In
other words, it is not enough to be successful at the level you are right now,
it is important to look ahead and dream bigger. At every level of success you
attain, there’s always another level to climb and the rewards are never the
same. The young man who struggles to complete a university degree will
certainly not have the same rewards in life as the man who only has a secondary
school leaving certificate.
My
mentor once told me that the greatest enemy of success is “I’m okay!” As long
as there is feeling of contentment with where a person is and what he has, the
desire to dream bigger and be better than the present circumstance is cut
short.
So,
dare to dream big and accomplish more. Regardless of the successes you have
experienced or are experiencing, there is more. There is more to look forward
to, there is more to accomplish.

YOU CAN MAKE HISTORY
Good Morning Brilliant and Excellent
People,
I look forward to sharing with you
Brilliant and Excellent tips for attaining your goals and fulfilling your
Purpose.
Nelson Mandela was the first South African
president elected in fully democratic elections. Mandela was also the main
player in the anti-apartheid movements in the country and served a lengthy
prison sentence because of same. This did not stop Mandela and in fact
motivated him to devote his life to uniting his country and he successfully
managed to do so after his release from an almost 30 year prison sentence. His
main characteristics were his determination, persistence, focus and will.
Through the seemingly ordinary actions
that Nelson Mandela did, he turned himself into a world renowned person and he
made history.
Every person on the earth has the
potential to make history. Consciously or unconsciously, everything you do
contribute to what is said of you many generations later.
Living a life of significance is a
conscious decision. Many young people take decisions without thinking ahead;
however, young people have the time, energy and resources to create a change
than any other generation.
HOW?
Courage: The
Courage to face the challenges and situations you face brings you to the verge
of history.
When James Shaw Jr. took courage and
stopped the shooter at Waffle House, I believe his plan was not to be a Hero.
But he did become many people's hero because of his act of courage in deciding
to save people's life.
Whatever it is we hope to achieve in life,
it will require some amount of courage and until you are willing to go all out,
you have not started the journey of legacy.
